My husband and his friend are in the process of recording an album. It's a lot of work. Kudos to your friend.

Re: CD Review - Benjamin Payne - The Way of Truth

Thanks, David. I changed the blog roll. I realized that I like having the most recently updated blogs on top. Thanks for pointing that out.

Re: CD Review - Benjamin Payne - The Way of Truth

Mike I wanted to let you know that I nominated your site for best religion blog. You can check out the info here:

http://bloggerschoiceawards...

If they had a best Atheist site I would have nominated you for that but they don't.

I am not trying to influence you but I have to say I liked your blogroll set in the order of who posted last instead of alphabetical order. Maybe I should change the name to "A Simply Ecclesia" ;)

Re: CD Review - Benjamin Payne - The Way of Truth

I really like his second CD, Released: Songs of Faith and Fury. I haven't gotten the song Solitary Moments out of my head in years. It's Payne with a "P" by the way, not Wayne, though Wayne is my Dad's name and my middle name. :-)

Oh, and you are quite welcome by the way. Benjamin is one of the most loving, compassionate, honest, and hard working people I know.

Re: CD Review - Benjamin Payne - The Way of Truth

Thanks for introducing me to Benjamin Wayne. I need to learn more about this music. On another note, I remember when I first began to discover the connections between so-called "popular" music and a life of faith. It was in the 70s when I dared tune in to pop channels on the radio in my new Chevy Vega. Before that, I had isolated myself in the realm of classical music - in love, fear, and (I thought) economic necessity. When I realized that music and lyrics were conveying something universal, a door opened.
